My background is in Industrial Design (Bachelor of Design (Hons) – NCAD 2002), and for over 16-years I’ve been crafting online human-centred design experiences. I have considerable international design experience, having worked in Ireland, Australia, Asia and the US.

I am a long-serving Fellow of the RSA in London, and founder and host of one of the most popular design podcasts on the internet, This is HCD – The Human-Centered Design Podcast.

I love technology and love all the gadgets that go with it! I really believe in the importance to stay fit and healthy and enjoy going to the gym most days.

I’m a huge music lover and have recorded/performed and self-released 1 EP, and 1 album over a 6-year period recording with a 12-time Grammy winning producer in the US and shared the stage with some of Ireland’s biggest acts. You can learn & listen more about my musical past here.

I really enjoy working with people with a similar outlook, and who really want to create the best possible product for both the user and the business. I honestly love what I do, and like to think I bring a lot of positive energy to whatever project I am lucky enough to be part of.

I’m also one of the iXDA Mentors in Sydney and love to try and help people out where possible. I’m was also a member of Mosman Toastmasters Society (2012-2015).

I’m the founder and host of This is HCD, a design podcast that is regularly included and regarded as one of the Top-10 design podcasts on the internet.
